莲花水电站技施设计阶段,在修编初设的基础上,经勘测设计试验论证,进行了大量的设计优化。主要有用砂砾石代替部分大坝堆石料;大坝垫层、过渡层料设计优化;二坝心墙防渗土料改用大坝坝基开挖料;二坝坝基取消灌浆廊道;溢洪道泄槽段缩窄;厂房尾水管用混凝土衬砌取代钢衬;厂房吊车梁设计优化;引水隧洞进水口布置优化;导流洞洞身由钢筋混凝土衬砌全部改为锚喷支护衬砌;调压井由简单式圆井改为阻抗式双圆弧调压井;厂用电高压系统设计优化等。不仅节省了大量工程投资,而且加快了施工进度。
