季益顺,中国陶瓷艺术大师,江苏省人大代表,研究员级高级工艺美术师,宜兴市民间艺术协会副会长,中国工艺美术学会会员,壶艺专业委员会主任,江苏宜兴紫砂收藏鉴赏专业委员会秘书长。1960年生于陶都,紫砂陶艺熏陶着他的童年。1978年他进紫砂工艺厂,初师于高级工艺美术师蒋小彦,后随著名紫砂陶艺家、高级工艺美术师高丽君、王小龙先生学艺,恩师言传手教,天性聪敏灵慧,加上本身的刻苦努力,使他练就了精湛、娴熟而全面的手工制壶技艺,很快在紫砂壶艺界崭露头角。1983年,进入中央工艺美院陶瓷系深造,过硬的技艺技法与艺术理论修养相结合,使他在陶瓷美学及设计理论上有了质的飞跃,加上他自身的人格魅力,使他的才华和天赋在紫砂艺术的殿堂里自由地驰骋、畅想,胸中的人生抱负有了更广泛的施展,于上世纪90年代,就被海内外收藏家赞誉为“壶界四小龙”之一。他继承着
