T.S. Eliot’s Poetry “Love Songs of J. Alfred Prufrock” The process of changing from a love theme to a search for meaning reflects the poet’s unique understanding of the meaning of time. This article aims to explore how the poem works deepen the portrayal of the protagonist through the way of dealing with the time mode and constantly expand the theme of the poem so that it becomes the pioneering poem of modernism.
