Kamata, formerly known as Wen Xiangzhu, born in 1961 in Tuquan County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. He joined the army in 1978 and was re-employed in 1998 as director of the North Group Painting and Calligraphy Institute of Jilin Daily. He is currently a member of the Jilin Calligraphers Association, a director of the Jilin Hard Pen Calligraphers Association, a member of the North Calligraphy and Paintings Society.
