梅山铁厂自产矿使用率一直很低,每年要进口大量价昂的澳大利亚块矿。为了改变这一局面,于1982年10~11月,在抗钢8米~2竖炉上用65%梅山精矿粉配加33.2%朝鲜矿粉和1.8%膨润土,试生产了8000多吨酸性球团矿(平均抗压强度150公斤/个球,≤85公斤/个球占23%),运回本厂后在1~#高炉(容积1060米~3)上进行了历时15天的试验(包括基准期六天,试验Ⅰ期七天和试验Ⅱ期二天),球团矿配比为17.8和27.2%。试验结果初步
Meishan Iron Mines has been very low rate of use of self-produced ore each year to import large quantities of expensive Australian lump ore.
