野蔷薇是蔷薇属落叶灌木,广泛分布于北温带。我国北方各地均有分布,新疆尤为广泛,其中以阿尔泰山区、额敏河谷平原、准噶尔山区以及南疆沿天山一带分布较多,成丛生长,面积约为百万亩以上,资源十分丰富。在已知的11个种2个亚种中,具开发利用价值的有:多刺蔷薇(Rosa spinossima L.)、疏花蔷薇(R.laxa Retz.)落萼蔷薇(R.beggeriana Schrenk)、腺毛蔷薇(R.fedtshenkoana Rgl.)、腺齿蔷薇(R.albertii Rgl.)等。
Briar is a rose deciduous shrub, widely distributed in the northern temperate. The distribution in all parts of northern China, Xinjiang is particularly widespread, of which the Altai Mountains, Eminonu Plains, Junggar Mountains and the southern border along the Tianshan area more distributed into a cluster of growth, an area of about one million mu or more, the resources are very rich.
