进入21世纪以来,世界经历了前所未有的变化和发展,我国的教育事业也取得了显著成效,由应试教育逐步向着素质教育转变.根据新的课程标准的要求,教学应把学生的认知能力和情感教育相结合以实现学生的全面发展.在外语教学中,研究者们也发现情感在外语学习和教学中起着关键作用.因此,在高中英语课堂中,教师应当把积极、健康和愉悦的情感教学与培养学生理解、掌握和运用英语等认知能力的教学法相结合,以全面提高学生的英语学习效率.这也是本文讨论的主题
