Military training of the U.S. reserve forces The peacekeeping training of the U.S. reserve forces and personnel is organized and implemented by the relevant agencies of the various services. Participants in the training are all the personnel of the first type of reserve forces in each service except the active national guard, and the reserve personnel of the second and third classes usually do not require mandatory military training, but may volunteer to participate in the training.
