The recently held Central Economic Work Conference clearly put forward the overall requirements, important principles and major tasks for this year’s economic work. General Secretary Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao delivered an important speech at the meeting. They comprehensively analyzed the current international and domestic economic situation and profoundly expounded the importance and urgency of speeding up the transformation of the economic development mode.
