自1954年以来,各级卫生部门在当地党委和人民政府的领导下,根据党的中医政策的指示精神,对老年中医进行统筹安排和合理的照顾,因而发挥了他们的力量和开展了工作,这是非常必要的。但是更重要的是如何首先把老年中医的学术和经验继承下来,这方面却做得很差。近年以来,国内许多知名的老年中医相继去世,他们的学术和经验并没有得到很好的继承,这不能不说是我们卫生事业上一项重大损失,应当引起我们极大的注意。为了弥补这方面的损失,卫生行政部门应立即着手研究各地有学术有经验的以及对某一种疾病有独
Since 1954, under the leadership of the local party committees and the people’s government, the health departments at all levels have given full play to their strength and carried out their work in accordance with the directives of the party’s traditional Chinese medicine policy in order to make overall arrangements and reasonable care for elderly Chinese medicine practitioners.
