联赛之前,聘请外援成了各俱乐部队的头等大事。领队和教练们怀揣大把的钞票和合同书,风尘仆仆不辞辛劳,尽往那世界上还不太富余的国家跑。就连声称“绝不让洋人踏上辽宁足坛”的辽宁队,最后也只好放下架子“就近取材”,聘了4名朝鲜籍外援。只可惜紧赶慢赶还是赶不上第一次体测,头三轮比赛只好暂且“休息”。其实请外援又不是什么见不得人的事,早知如此何必当初。 二三十口子或金发碧眼或黝黑如炭的“洋鬼子”在海埂基地晃悠,成了中国足坛的一大新景观。这种现象尽管众说纷纭、褒贬不一,但道理却不难理解。因为中国球员中让教练们中意的不仅少之又少,而且转起会来是既难办又麻烦。
