This paper discusses the methods of turbine, water pump and large pipe flow monitoring. The on-line monitoring system of kinetic energy parameters of Daxia Hydropower Station is introduced. It is of common significance to solve the problem of monitoring and measuring kinetic energy parameters such as flow rate and efficiency of hydropower plants.
