曾经受到国防部表彰的山东省新泰市人武部,大力发扬艰苦创业精神,创出了一流的工作成绩。人武部正规化建设、民兵武器装备管理、政治教育、基层建设等项工作连年受到上级机关的表彰,山东省政府、省军区授予他们“民兵预备役工作先进单位”称号,前不久,人武部党委再度被省军区表彰为“先进党委”。谈起这一切,部长孙云亭感慨地说:“改变落后面貌靠艰苦奋斗,争先创优更要靠艰苦奋斗,只要精神不松套,就没有克服不了的困难。”
