今年5月份,四川省乐山市宝兴村的村民发现,自家水田里的水稻幼苗已经返青,但突然又开始泛黄,连续喷洒农药未果,尔后水稻叶子枯萎,甚至出现幼苗大面积死亡。有农业专家到田间调查发现,一些水稻嫩叶上有明显的虫噬痕迹,初步统计该村有上百亩水稻死亡,无药可救。专家判定造成水稻死亡的罪魁祸首,是一种名为“稻水象甲”的害虫。被国际自然保护联盟列为全球100种最具威胁的入侵物种之一,严重危害粮食安全。这稻水象甲为何许物也?怎会有如此的杀伤力?
