《西游记健康新传》是山西省健康教育中心、太原市卫生局共同研发的集动画片、连环画于一体的健康教育项目。该项目以中国古典名著西游记为背景,分别以高血压、糖尿病、冠状动脉粥样硬化性心脏病(冠心病)、肿瘤、脑卒中(中风)、为内容,描述孙悟空、唐僧、沙僧、猪八戒师徒四人,受佛祖委托,二次去西天取健康真经的故事。一路上,他们遇到多种慢性病威胁着人类健康。师徒四人竭尽全力,在观音医生的帮助下,为人们指明了防治疾病的健康之路。上期已刊出《西游记健康新传》连环画之防治糖尿病篇本期刊出《西游记健康新传》连环画之防治高血压上篇。该连环画用通俗的语言,生动的形象,富有创意的情节,将病因、治疗、预防融入故事中。通过对文字与形象、绘画与版式设计,做到了读者在欣赏艺术的同时,接受健康知识,强化健康行为,避免、远离危害健康的因素。该连环画丰富了健康传播的形式,使卫生科普作品以艺术品的形态展示给广大读者。
