鉴于电影在世界文化交流中的重要媒介作用及其自身的四大价值——信息价值、文化价值、审美价值和商业价值,本文结合英文电影名的汉译佳作实例对异化和归化两种翻译策略以及诺德的翻译目的论(即功能对等原则)进行详细的解释说明,最后,本文提出了英语电影名汉译应该符合的三大要求:忠于原影片的内容主旨和风格、言简意赅且便于记忆、符合汉语规范和中国观众品味。
In view of the movie’s important media role in the world cultural exchange and its own four major values - information value, cultural value, aesthetic value and commercial value, this paper combines the translation of English movie titles into two examples Strategy and Nord’s translational teleology (that is, the principle of functional equivalence) .Thirdly, this paper presents three major requirements that should be met in translation of English movie titles: content and style loyal to the original film, conciseness and convenience Memory, in line with Chinese norms and Chinese audience tastes.
