Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of chemokine receptor 7 (CCR7) and vascular endothelial growth factor C (VEGF-C) in pancreatic carcinoma and lymph node metastasis. Methods The expression of CCR7 and VEGF-C in pancreatic cancer and normal pancreatic tissue were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR and immunohistochemistry. Results The expression of CCR7 and VEGF-C gene and protein in pancreatic cancer with lymph node metastasis was significantly higher than that in pancreatic cancer without lymph node metastasis. The expression of CCR7 and VEGF-C in pancreatic cancer was significantly higher than that in normal pancreatic cancer There was a significant correlation between the expression of CCR7 and VEGF-C in the tissues. Conclusions CCR7 and VEGF-C can be used as an index to evaluate lymph node metastasis of pancreatic cancer, which is significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis of pancreatic cancer.
