From June 12, 2015 to June 14, 2015, the 7th International Symposium on Evolutionary Linguistics was successfully held in Nankai University. A total of 87 papers were received at the conference. Nearly 100 scholars from the United States, France, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Singapore, mainland China, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan attended the event. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Shi Feng from Nankai University. Wang Shiyuan delivered the opening speech.
