OBJECTIVE: To understand the levels of seven elements in the acute stage of severe stroke patients by detecting seven elements in the acute stage of severe stroke patients, and to provide a reference for the rational supplement of various elements in the acute stage of severe stroke patients. Methods: The content of 7 elements in venous blood of acute stroke patients in 200 patients with severe stroke was determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometry compared with 182 healthy people in normal control group. Results: Among the seven indicators tested, serum calcium in patients with severe stroke was lower than that in the normal control group (P <0.05), while magnesium and zinc were higher than those in the normal control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: The distribution of various elements in patients with severe stroke is quite different in the acute phase. It is not advocated that the patients should be blindly compensated. Based on the stable internal environment of patients, reasonable detection of elements should be added to improve the quality of life of patients.
