根据安徽省人民委员会1958年7月12日报告,决定:撤销铜陵县,将其所属行政区域全部并入铜官山市;并将铜官山市改名为铜陵市。
According to the report of Anhui People’s Committee on July 12, 1958, it was decided that Tongling County should be withdrawn and all its administrative regions merged into Tongguan Mountain City; Tongguanshan City should be renamed as Tongling City.
