The Seminar on Chinese Grammar History was held on November 18-20 at the Preparatory Office of the Linguistics Institute of Academia Sinica in Taiwan. The meeting was sponsored by Professor Mei Zuolin of Cornell University in the United States to promote the study of the history of cross-Strait history. Mr. Ho Tai On, Director of the Preparatory Office of the Academia Sinica Institute of Linguistics, delivered an opening speech. Mr. Mei Zulin chaired the two-day conference.
