本文以言语行为理论为指导,以美剧《绝望的主妇》第七季为研究对象,结合字幕翻译的特征,探讨恭维语的翻译是否成功地传递了说话人的言外之意,以期总结出恭维语的翻译策略,为影视作品中恭维语的翻译提供策略上的指导。
Taking the seventh season of the American drama Desperate Housewives as the research object and combining with the characteristics of the subtitle translation, this article attempts to explore whether the translation of the compliment language successfully conveys the speaker’s implication, in order to summarize the translation of the compliment language Strategy to provide strategic guidance for the translation of compliments in video works.
