1992年5月20日,我市某厂气体站在充装氧气时,发生一起氧气瓶爆炸事故。炸裂碎块飞落草地幸未造成人员伤亡。 5月20日下午,某单位用汽车拉来一批空氧气瓶让该厂气体站充装氧气。其中有2只空瓶没有编该站瓶号。当搬运工发现无瓶号后,问气瓶保管员怎么办?保管员将这2只瓶子放在一旁。此时用户极力请求,强调路远,要求给予充氧。这样当班充气工人在没有对气瓶仔细检查的情况下,将放在一旁待查的两只瓶子混同其余的气瓶一起搬到充气架上进行充氧。当压力上升到125kgf/cm~2时,一只瓶子当场发生爆炸。爆炸后现场检查:瓶阀无油脂,无其它混入气体。
