为了消除就业歧视、建立健全城乡劳动者平等就业制度,使农村劳动者享受与城镇居民同样的市民待遇,湖北省劳动和社会保障厅、发改委、公安厅、教育厅、建设厅联合发文宣布,除武汉中心城区外,农村劳动者只要满足以下条件任一,都可申办城镇户口。
