Japan “ghost ” writer Akutagawa Ryunosuke, the only trip abroad in his life is 1921 lasted 4 months journey to China. After returning from China to Japan, Akutagawa wrote down his China’s impression more truly and objectively and published it as “China’s Travels”. The Travels of China wrote his pursuit of traditional Chinese culture, wrote a poetic, romantic, fragmented Chinese imagination and wrote his negative anecdote of the misplaced Chinese social reality. The value of this travel literature is very general, but what we deserve our study is what he did not write what he wrote, why he wrote it, his writing mentality and his misunderstanding of China’s observation and understanding at that time, And Japan is still very helpful.
