The “Symposium on the Status and Progress of Multidisciplinary Treatment for Lung Cancer” co-sponsored by the Academic Affairs Department of the Shanghai Medical Association and the Young Scientists Group of the Shanghai Medical Association’s Lung Science Association was held in Shanghai Medical Association on October 20, 1998. A total of more than 80 young and middle-aged physicians from various hospitals, some experts in pulmonary sciences and predecessors attended the conference. The seminars deal with lung cancer in a relaxed and lively manner.
