本部分分为“单项作文训练与指导”和“综合作文训练与训练”两个板块。“单项作文训练与指导”从题意、中心、内容、感情、文体、结构、语言、深刻、丰富、文采、创新等11个方面进行等级定位,分析学生作文现有水平,然后指导学生把握和运用升格技巧,总结升格方法,不断提高升格水平。“综合作文训练与训练”以学生作文的整体得分为依据,分别选择了一类偏下、二类偏上、二类居中、二类偏下、三类居中和三类偏下等作文,对每一篇作文进行了点评,提出了升格的方法建议,并提供了一篇升格后的文章,供广大教师引导学生进行强化训练。
