2005年7月5日，苏州，青春版《牡丹亭》在第二届中国昆曲国际研讨会上献演三个多小时的“浓缩版”，至此，青春版《牡丹亭》已在海峡两岸以及香港、澳门地区公演达50场。一年多来，青春版《牡丹亭》所过之处，唱醉了如潮涌来的新老观众。四百年前汤显祖以绝世才华和一往深情栽就的“牡丹”，于此“还魂”，凭藉生命与美的感动，拨动了国人沉睡于历史记忆中的诗心诗眼。
On July 5, 2005, the “Peony Pavilion” in Suzhou, the youth version, presented a “condensed version” of more than three hours at the 2nd Kunqu Opera International Symposium. At this point, the youth version of “The Peony Pavilion” has been displayed on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao performances up to 50 games. In the past year or so, the Youth Version of The Peony Pavilion went by, singing a wave of drunken old and new audiences. Four hundred years ago, Tang Xianzu, with his peerless talents and profound affection, planted “Peony” in this “reincarnation.” By virtue of the touching of life and beauty, the poetic poetic poetry that people sleep in in their historical memory was struck.
