多元化经营又称之为多角化经营,多样化经营,是企业界在多个相关或不相关的产业领域同时经营多项不同的业务的战略,是企业实行跨产品和跨产业的经营扩张,生产多种类的产品或提供多种类的服务。近年来,我国许多知名企业因多元化经营的失误纷纷落马。如我国“巨人”的突然倒闭,“太阳神”的经营滑坡都与盲目进行多元化经营有关,而“海尔”却通过多元化经营创造了连续14年平均增长速度82.4%的奇迹,成为我国多元化经营成功的典范,可见如何把握多元化经营的战略要点是企业能否健康成功的关键。
