华东师范大学中文系教授施蛰存先生因病于 2 0 0 3年 1 1月 1 9日在上海华东医院逝世 ,享年 99岁。 1 0月 1 7日 ,在华东师大等单位为他举行百岁华诞祝寿会当天 ,他因住院未能到会参加 ,会上播放了他住院时期的录音录像。他对校内外朋友、读者对他的关怀表示感谢 ,同时郑重说道
Mr. Shi Zhecun, professor of Chinese Department of East China Normal University, died at Shanghai Huadong Hospital on January 19, 2003 due to illness, at the age of 99. On January 17, on the day when the East China Normal University and other institutions held his 100th birthday celebration, he failed to attend due to his hospitalization and recorded the audio-video recording of his hospitalization.
