日本宣布向印度提供45亿美元援助,用于建设德里一孟买铁路货运沿线的工业基础设施。两国还决定将货币互换协议额度提升到150亿美元,并将在2012年首次启动部长级经济对话,讨论高速铁路合作等问题。此外,两国还希望双边贸易总额在2014年达到250亿美元。2011年前9个月,印日双边贸易实现了24%的增长,达到132亿美元。
Japan announced a grant of 4.5 billion U.S. dollars to India for building industrial infrastructure along the Delhi-Mumbai rail freight. The two countries also decided to raise the currency swap agreement to 15 billion U.S. dollars and will start the ministerial-level economic dialogue for the first time in 2012 to discuss the issue of high-speed railway cooperation. In addition, the two countries also hope that bilateral trade volume will reach 25 billion U.S. dollars in 2014. In the first nine months of 2011, India-Japan bilateral trade achieved a 24% increase to 13.2 billion U.S. dollars.
