At the end of last century, the highest administrative body of China’s textile industry had gone through thorough reform. The State Textile industry Bureau, formerly under the administration of the State Economic and Trade Commission, is abolished. This indicates that the administrative mechanics of the textile industry has preliminarily finished the restructuring process that targets to suit the constant development of the market economy and a mac- ro management system in accordance with the world common practice has established in the industry.
