最近十多年来分析化学方面发生的比较显著的变革之一就是仪器分析越来越多地取代了容量分析和重量分析。这一方面的变革仍在迅速地向前发展着,而仪器分析发展的一个重要特点就是近代物理学(分子、原子、核物理等)的新成就不断引入。此外,社会生产实践对于分析化学的要求已经越出了分离、定性和定量的范围,而是还要求提供结构、价态、空间位置和样品均匀性等等方面的资料。“人类总得不断地总结经验,有所发现,有所发明,有所创造,有所前进。”分析
