Methodology Principle: Pesticide (Harvade) was extracted from beef with acetonitrile. The extract is filtered through a glass fiber filter, filtered through sodium sulphate and washed with petroleum ether. The acetonitrile layer was evaporated to the residue, the residue was dissolved in benzene-chloroform (1 + 1) and purified on a column packed with Florisil and alumina.
