国际成人教育组织来访对我国成人教育表示祝贺国际成人教育理事会,是一个由六十多个国家和地区参加的、受联合国教科文组织资助的、影响较大的世界性民间组织。他们从1978年开始与我联系,积极争取我国参加。去年经双方在京会谈商定,今年由该组织中六个成员国和地区共九人组成的“国际成人教育访华团”,先后到我国的北京、上海、四川、湖南、广东、黑龙江、吉林、辽宁省的大连等省市作了成人教育工作的专题考察。我国的成人教育得到了访华团的称赞。访华团成员、美国世界教育技术服务中心专家亨特女士说:“我在四个时期和中国发生过联系,即解放前、中华人民共和国成立初期、1975年和现在。我亲眼看到中国成人教育的变化和发展。解放前为少数人服务,解放初期发动群众大规模扫除文盲,文化革命期间忽视书本知识,现在既强调书本知识、又强调生产实践”。她说:“通过这次考察,使我感受最深
International Adult Education Organization Visits China’s Adult Education Congratulations The International Council for Adult Education is a world-wide influential non-governmental organization funded by UNESCO and attended by more than 60 countries and regions.
