QuestionPoint是由美国国会图书馆和OCLC共同开发的全球合作参考咨询系统。该系统以其强大的功能和显著的优势,成为全球图书馆合作数字参考咨询服务的典范。但是QuestionPoint系统在我国的参考咨询服务实践中,却表现出不能适应我国图书馆系统的一些弱点。作者通过网站调查、电话访问等方式全面总结QuestionPoint系统在我国图书馆界的使用状况,并对该系统在中国出现的问题进行了深入的分析,以供图书馆在选择参考咨询软件时借鉴。
QuestionPoint is a global collaboration reference system jointly developed by the Library of Congress and OCLC. With its powerful functions and significant advantages, the system has become a model for collaborative digital reference services worldwide. However, QuestionPoint system in our reference service practice, but it has shown some of the weaknesses can not adapt to our library system. The author summarizes the use of QuestionPoint system in the library industry in our country through web site surveys and telephone interviews, and makes an in-depth analysis of the problems that the system appeared in China for the reference of libraries when choosing reference software.
