Nor do we know that in Genghis Khan’s private life, there is any fact that can be interpreted as evidence of his particularly cruelty. On the contrary, everything about us is exemplified by his leniency and self-centeredness that we have already advocated. The assassination of Beketi and the other murders and massacres executed by Genghis Khan’s orders would not treat them as evidence of his brutality or bloodthirst, provided that they were able to recognize the concepts and customs of the day. It is not unusual for Genghis Khan to commit the sin, or the sin to be committed, the ethical standards around him, and the ethical and religious ideas that nurture him. He is always a nomadic people who believes in primitive “shamanism.” He holds a basic sense of moral responsibility for God’s Day and Patronus, and also possesses a fully developed possessive instinct.
