M10坦克歼击车是二战期间美国颇有名气的坦克歼击车,由通用动力公司负责生产,采用6046柴油发动机,从1942年9月到1943年12月,共生产了4993辆;另一种版本被称为M10A1。两者间没有外形上的区别,唯一的不同在于M10A1换装了一台福特公司的GAA V8汽油发动机。在火力更强大的M36歼击车投产之前,两家公司共生产了6706辆M10和M10A1,是二战期间美国生产最多的歼击车。超过了著名的德军“猎豹”、“追猎者”等坦克歼击车的生产总数。
M10 tank destroyer was well-known in the United States during World War II tank destroyer, produced by the General Dynamics company, the use of 6046 diesel engine, from September 1942 to December 1943, a total of 4993 vehicles were produced; another version was Called M10A1. There is no difference in appearance between the two, the only difference is that the M10A1 has been refitted with a Ford GAA V8 petrol engine. Before the more powerful M36 destroyers were put into operation, the two companies produced a total of 6,706 M10 and M10A1, the largest U.S.-made destroyer vehicles during World War II. More than the famous German “Cheetah”, “Stalker” and other tank destroyer total production.
