陕西省外办(陕西省人民对外友好协会)承担着对外交往、友好联络的重任,许多官方及民间的外事活动从这里展开,这里被普通民众称为陕西省的“外交部”。顺着历史的足迹回顾,在民众的视线中,生活在我们周边的外国人、与我们发生各种关系的外国公司及城市越来越多……陕西,正在逐渐进入国际视野,而世界大同的事实,也正在冲击着陕西人的理念……其实,这些巨变的一系列背后都与省外办(友协)的工作密不可分。改革开放30年来,陕西友城事业硕果累累,无数友城人千里奔波,万里牵线,搭起了三秦大地与世界各地友好交流的一道道彩虹,谱写了一曲曲感人的故事。从本期开始,本刊开辟“外事看台”栏目,以飨读者。
