任何一门语言都有自己的 词汇,如果把一门语言 比喻成一座大厦,那么它的词汇就 是构成大厦的砖瓦。一个人要把自 己的语言大厦盖得华丽,那么他需 要掌握的“词汇砖瓦”就必须多。英 语的学习也是如此。英语词汇的记 忆可以说是整个英语学习的基础, 没有一定的词汇量就不可能有高 水平的外语能力。很多人英语学不 好,甚至害怕学习英语,究其原因 就是记不住词汇。
Every language has its own vocabulary. If you compare a language to a building, its vocabulary is the brick that makes up the building. If a person wants to build his or her language building beautifully, then he must have more “vocabulary and brick” to master. The same is true of English learning. The memory of English vocabulary can be regarded as the foundation of English learning. Without a certain vocabulary, it is impossible to have a high level of foreign language ability. Many people do not learn English well and are even afraid of learning English. The reason is that they cannot remember words.
