豫芝三号系周口地区农科所经系统选育,培育成的芝麻新品种。该品种白花,白粒,蒴果四棱,叶片肥厚深绿呈柳叶形,植株光滑无茸毛,主茎和分枝结蒴大小相近,整个生育期长势稳健,农艺性状良好。经国家、省、地区域试验、生产示范,平均亩产67.98公斤,比中芝7号等对照种增产17%以上。含油率55.07%。还具有早熟、耐涝、抗旱、抗病等优点,适宜在黄淮平原和长江流域种植。1988年河南省
