自James Martin的评价理论系统发展以来,该理论常被应用于各种各样的话语分析,如新闻报刊语和自传话语等。然而,小说话语则很少涉及。本文运用了评价系统项下的态度系统对简·奥斯汀的《傲慢与偏见》中作者的婚姻观进行评价性解读,借以说明评价在小说话语中的重要作用,且以期在评价中找寻作者小说话语的文体风格特色。本文发现,小说中情感和判定常以名词化形式出现;过程情感表达不仅涉及到心理过程,还涉及到关系过程以及言语过程。
Since the development of James Martin ’s theory of evaluation system, the theory has been applied to a variety of discourse analysis, such as news media and autobiographical discourse. However, novel discourse is rarely involved. This article uses the attitude system under the evaluation system to make an evaluative reading of the author’s view of marriage in Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice to illustrate the important role of evaluation in the novel discourse and to find the author’s discourse in the evaluation Style of style features. This paper finds that emotion and judgment often appear in the form of nominalization. The process of emotional expression not only involves the psychological process, but also involves the relationship process and the process of speech.
