江华林场地处江华瑶族自治县境内,总面积53万亩,林地覆盖面积达十万余亩。全场共设10个分场,正式职工5000余人,场内有10个自然村,村民近5000人,系正处级机构的市属县管林场。在湖南省众多同有林场中,其规模最大,面积最广,人口最多,历史最为悠久,素有“三湘第一林场”之美誉。令人惊叹的绿色家园树木葱茏,绿水潺潺,山花烂漫,禽兽欢鸣,江华林场自然资源之丰富
