Good news quick this week, ZDBOp (Ziff-Davis Benchmark Operation) will unveil the veil of WebBench 1.0. WebBench is a WWW server benchmarking tool used to measure the performance of Web servers in handling both static and dynamic requests. WebBench is free and can help various rating agencies - such as ZD Labs - to improve their ability to test the performance of hardware and software products for Web and Intranet servers. WebBench, like ZD’s other server benchmarking tools such as NetBench and ServerBench, also uses that console-server-client based architecture.
