Frank O’Hara (1926-1966) is a core figure in the New York school of poetry in the United States. It is widely influential and now has a world-renowned literary world. Many scholars noticed that his early writing was greatly influenced by the French surrealism. For example, in “Frank O’Hara: The Poet in the Painter” (1977), the famous critic Paluof put O’Hara and France Surrealist pioneers Arthur Rimbaud, Benjamin Peret, and so forth, and compares his poem with Guillaume Apollinaire and Pierre Revedy syntactically (1); another heavyweight Monograph, Frank O’Hara: Small Group Poetics (2006) addresses
