库车地区高速砾岩分布较为广泛,在大北地区探井钻遇高速砾岩之前,博孜1井和康村2井均已钻遇大套的高速砾岩,并认识到高速砾岩对于构造准确落实存在较大影响。近两年,大北地区大北3井和大北6井又钻遇巨厚的高速砾岩,大北6井库车组地层,上钻前设计层速度为3 860 m/s,而实钻层速度高达到4 500~6 000 m/s,大北6井由于高速砾岩的影响,直接导致该井实钻深度与预测深度出现非常大的差异。可以看出,由于高速砾岩引起的速度异常已经严重的影响了对盐下构造的准确落实,高速砾岩成为库车坳陷构造的准确落实非常重要的一个影响因素。因而,对库车地区高速砾岩的研究显得非常迫切和重要。
