2014年,对宝盖镇来说,是蛮拼的一年。这一年里,这片仅26平方公里的土地上发生了不小的变化。过去一年,宝盖镇党委、政府认真贯彻落实石狮市委、市政府的决策部署,紧紧围绕“质量石狮、二次创业”战略,努力探索基层乡镇科学发展、跨越发展的路子,唱响了城镇质量提升强音。新常态下求突破,新挑战中勇争先。面对各种困难与压力,2014年,宝盖镇经济社会各项事业保持良好的发展态势。全年财政总收入完成10.43亿元,实现稳中有升,连续5年位居全市首位;镇域综合实力入围中国百强榜单。
