First, the foreword Baotou Steel Slag in the blast furnace smelting presents many features, the root cause is the characteristics of fluorine-containing slag. Previous work on the determination of fluorine-containing slag has done some research work, but the lack of more complete data. To this end, we plan to conduct a more systematic determination of fluorine-containing slag and research. Slag viscosity and melting temperature metallurgical workers are very concerned about the physical and chemical properties. This article is the introduction of the measurement results of the viscosity and melting temperature of CaO-MgO-SiO_2-Al_2O_3-CaF_2 five-component synthetic fluorine-containing slag. The viscosities of CaO-SiO_2-CaF_2 ternary system with different Al_2O_3 and MgO contents were plotted. The alkalinity, fluorine
