目前,小水电站广泛选用双绕组电抗分流自励恒压水轮发电机(简称双流自励发电机)。这种发电机的调压外特性曲线线性度较差,不利于并联运行,因而使许多小水电站不能联网运行。青海省贵南县的茫拉河三座梯级小水电站,即因上述问题分为三个独立系统运行,以致造成很大的经济损失。后来由于采取了措施,使三个电站的双流自励发电机实现了稳定并联运行,电能质量和运行可靠性、稳定性、灵活性都得到较大提高,收到了很好的经济效果。

Later, as a result of the measures taken, the Shuangliu self-excited generators of the three power plants achieved a stable parallel operation, and the power quality and reliability, stability and flexibility of the power plants were greatly improved, and good economic results were received.
