词块是语言形式相对固定的多个词的组合,作为整体储存和取用。词块广泛存在于自然话语中,作为语言处理最理想的单位,对本族语者语言的流利性和地道性都有着直接的影响。词块的存在对第二语言习得也具有重要意义,其作用主要体现在四方面:有助于学习者改善语言表达的流利性,有助于学习者提高语言表达的地道性,有助于学习者获得语用能力,有助于学习者提高策略能力。
A lexical chunk is a combination of multiple words with relatively fixed linguistic forms that are stored and accessed as a whole. The lexical chunks are widely found in natural discourse. As the most ideal unit for language processing, lexical chunks have a direct influence on the fluency and authenticity of native speakers’ language. The existence of lexical chunks is also significant for second language acquisition. Its role is mainly reflected in four aspects: it helps learners to improve the fluency of language expression and helps learners improve the authenticity of language expression. Learners gain pragmatic competence and help learners improve their strategies.
